Welcome Back: Ghana – Gold Coast Stars Return to UAPSL-USA
The United Africa Premier League – USA (UAPSL-USA) proudly welcomes the return of Ghana’s Gold Coast Stars to the league ahead of the 2026 season.
Gold Coast Stars are no strangers to success in UAPSL. As the 2022 Fall Champions, the team returns under the leadership of Coach Anietie Ukoh, a highly respected figure with a wealth of experience. Coach Ukoh is a former Green Eagles of Nigeria National Team player, bringing elite-level knowledge, discipline, and tactical excellence to the Ghanaian side.
One of the founding teams of the UAPSL, Gold Coast Stars have consistently represented Ghana in all league and cup competitions since the league’s inception. Their commitment, legacy, and competitive spirit have played a major role in shaping the growth and identity of the league.
The team is returning with renewed energy, a distinctive style of play, and a clear goal: to compete at the highest level and add another championship to their growing list of honors.
Ghana has long been recognized as one of the most supportive and passionate teams within the league. Speaking on the return, League President Bruce Mitchley said:
“Ghana has been the most supportive team in the league, and we hope to see that same level of commitment and unity reflected across many of our teams. We are excited to welcome Gold Coast Stars back to the UAPSL for the 2026 season.”
The United Africa Premier League – USA once again says welcome home to Ghana’s Gold Coast Stars. We look forward to an exciting, competitive, and unforgettable 2026 season.
