About The League
The United African Premier League - USA (UAPSL) is a community-driven soccer league founded in Colorado with the mission of bringing people together through the power of sport. As the first league of its kind in the state, UAPSL was created to serve African and African-descendant communities while promoting unity, cultural pride, and positive community engagement.
UAPSL provides a welcoming and organized environment where players, families, and supporters can connect, compete, and grow. Beyond competition, the league focuses on strengthening relationships across communities, creating safe and inclusive spaces, and using soccer as a tool for social connection and personal development.
With plans to expand into New York, Washington, and Georgia, UAPSL aims to build strong local leagues within each state. These leagues will compete for state championships, with champions advancing to an annual Champions Tournament that celebrates excellence, teamwork, and community achievement.
While rooted in African communities, UAPSL proudly embraces diversity and inclusion. The league welcomes teams and participants from all backgrounds, fostering mutual respect and shared purpose. UAPSL is committed to providing opportunities for youth, amateur athletes, and former professional players to stay active, engaged, and connected to the game. The UAPSL also welcomes other community teams that are interested in joining the league if they want to celebrate and share their culture and heritage.
Through soccer, UAPSL strives to unite communities, inspire the next generation, and create lasting impact both on and off the field—building not just a league, but a family.
